A "Christmas" Story…….?

I have wanted to make a music video since I have started vlogging? Why? Because I am an idiot……I don’t know, I just love music videos. Actually that is not true, I love some music videos, the classics back when MTV actually played music videos. Lets you know how old I am….baby can you turn up the heat, grandpa’s cold……Anyway, it’s just something I have wanted to do. And I did make a couple check them out here and here. But I have always dreamed of coming up with an idea, writing it out and filming this “grand spectacle”, lot’s of locations and different angles, 10-20 people. (Again, I don’t know why.) Well I came up with an idea and my buddy and I fleshed it out and I thought “This is it!” We have been enjoying a bit of “sucess” with the Zombie Tales stuff we have been doing. People have wanted to help etc. So I thought this is it, my grand vision will finally come to life and people will fawn all over me….( I have delusions of grandur and trust me they are delusions) Well, we put out the word and the response was “heck yea I want to help!” So I thought we were gold, then this person dropped out, then this person and so on.

But I was like “Never give up, Never surreder!” and we kept plugging away, but I had to keep making “modifications”, first it was the stupid old security guard, (we were just scouting locations and I know, private property, etc…but jeez I was just wanting to make a stupid video, I know, I know) then it was where to find “Christmasy” stuff outside during the day so I could film, etc (it turns out it is actually pretty hard to make a music video, who knew)

Well the big day arrived and I was nervous, we had a couple of more drop outs and I was really feeling the pressure to make this video good. Not so much for me but for those that did show up and were excited. Most of the people in this vid have been with me and us since the start of ZT and are doing this just for fun, no money, no nothing. And some of the shots have been pretty involved. But they are the ones who are making it possible for me to even attempt some of this things.

Well to wrap up this stupidly long post, I made the video. The actor’s were great and it was a really long day but they hung in there and kept plugging away. They are Zombie Tales, the heart and soul. And I thank them from the bottom of my heart! This video is for you guys, who stuck with me and believed in me.

I hope the rest of you all enjoy this as well and who knows maybe someday I will be able to make that “grand spectacle” I have always wanted to make.
