Yea, I know…I’m weird like that I guess, one day I’m thinking about something that rocks me to my core and then the next day, I want turkey…..just life I guess…. I’m so weird…
That’s what I love about daily posting. You really can get a sense of LIFE. Life is deep emotions and heartfelt memories one day and frozen turkey the next.

My mother was telling me recently how her dad in Ireland came home just before Christmas one year walking a turkey into the house on a piece of string. It was slaughtered in the bath much to the horror of the little girl who was my mother. I don’t think she ever recovered.

Poor Glenna. Nobody ever brings up the fact that while Heath is yapping, she is cleaning, doing laundry, shopping and overall carrying the load.
We all suffer for our art… but Glenna seems to be the only one suffering!

i’d love to know how long a frozen turkey takes to thaw.
When thawing a turkey in the refrigerator:
Plan ahead: allow approximately 24 hours for each 4 to 5 pounds in a refrigerator set at 40 °F or below.
… now I’m hungry.
