Far Away

For personal reasons I have removed my day 19 video… I thought about it most of the night and most of today and I deceided that I would remove it. I debated long and hard about putting it up in the first place. When I created my vlog, I thought it would be much different than what it has become. I love what it has become, a place to share, a place to learn and a place to grow. But as I am begining to learn, sometimes you have to guard what you share. I mean that’s true of anything and anyplace but especially on the web. I want to always be able to share things but much like the situation with my father earlier this year, not everything needs to be shared…some may not understand that and some may go what took you so long to figure it out and some may go who cares….but I have to be true to myself and this is what I have decieded to do.

    You should smoke more pot!

    Just kidding! I know how bad depression can be. I feel ya brother.

    See you Friday?

    This is very powerful! {{hugs}}

    I so admire that you’ve done this. Depression’s never an easy thing to talk about. Far easier just to experience it. But talking about it, or vlogging it, is a brave and positive thing. And I mean brave psychologically. When you’re depressed talking is usually the last thing you want to do.

    We’re getting to know numerous facets of personality through NaVloPoMo. And not in a crass way but in a humane and enlightening, and ultimately empowering, way.
    Glad you did this. Thank you.

    I want everyone to know that I am feeling better, the very act of creating helps…I appreciate the comments, I am learning to talk about it so hopefully we can all understand depression better and learn how to overcome it.

    I don’t think my battle with depression is as tough as yours, but I do have some damn dark days. I just wait them out. Seems like that’s all you can do. Your wife is right. You’re a good man. You’re loved. Hold out for the good days. Remember ‘em.

    Heath…prayin’ for ya.

    It’s good you are letting it out by doing a video and posting it, so people can give a few words of their support (I bet we all could write tons of things but won’t waste your comment space).

    Fu*k, let’s make a meeting and talk about it online! I had my fights and would like to hear from others about their struggle! Let’s do something instead of just posting a comment and move on to another vlog!
    Your call, Heath.

    Fair enough, Heath. I totally understand why it’s gone.
